Naturally, I don't enjoy long breaks away from school. I am at the end of the Christmas break right now, and head back to school tomorrow.
The first week of Christmas break for me is quite busy. I get to see family that I don't usually see, help make TONS of balls (the dessert balls) and just have fun. Then the second week rolls in. The only somewhat "exciting" thing about this week is the New Year, which I get to celebrate by watching Ryan Seacrest, and the 10,000 people who have been waiting for 12 hours outside in Time Square overreact when the ball drops, even though it isn't 2015 yet. (Thank you time zones!)
The next several days before school start are quite long and boring. I feel like I'm trapped in a cage, where I get more restless every second until I am about to go insane. Henry and Isaac go to school a day before me, so today is just me and Mom at home. This morning, I turned on the TV and saw this:
Also, Arctic air will come down from Canada, causing temperatures to plummet. Wind chill in some areas of the Midwest could be from -25 to -45 on Wednesday, Jan.7. I have sadly, been through colder days. Last year, a Polar Vortex swept through causing the temperatures to fall rapidly. One day, it was -15 for the high and -60 for wind chill.
So, this means I might have more days off resulting in me probably going insane, not going outside, and being driven crazy by one of my brothers. Good luck to me. Happy New Year everybody! Peace!!!!
